1 Star EHHH….
From the first day that i got this computer, I was having problems. I have 3 other people in my house who use laptops and get excellent internet connection. However, I dont. From day one, i tried getting online and i was unable to. While the internet connection signal strength says “Excellent” .. i was still unable to get on the internet, while everyone in my house WAS able to. I even called my internet provider and they told me it was not the internet connection, but it was probably the computer. I then called ACER who tried to help me by walking me thru on how to restart the computer and reboot and he told me to type in all these codes. the internet still had terrible terrible connection. I have to sit about a foot away from the internet modem just to get on the internet. I cannot go in my room a few feet away because i will get absoloutley no connection. I must sit very close to the internet modem. I honestly regret buying this terrible thing they call a laptop.

5 Stars LOVE this laptop!!!
I absolutely love my pink aspire one! It’s great for surfing the web in the evenings. I can’t imagine trying to do actual work on it as the keyboard is small, but for surfing the web and emailing at night, it’s great. The color is adorable!!

5 Stars Best gift ever!
I purchased this as a gift for a teenager. It is compact, light weight and affordable. A perfect computer for a college student!

5 Stars Not Pink Netbook
The pink were sold out so I was given a discount for black. I love this thing. It has a really good amount of memory so I was able to load all the programs and data I need for business purposes. The wifi is seamless in connecting. It takes a little getting used to the keyboard because it is small, but once you do, it’s not bad. I had the same issue with my laptop and got used to it. This netbook is really small so I can take it anywhere easily. Fits right into my briefcase or purse and is lightweight. Has good battery life too. The low price is also a bonus. I would recommend this netbook to anyone!

1 Star Horrible Machine
I have bought and setup pcs since the early 90s. This netbook is a big mistake for anyone spending any range of money and here’s why:

1. Hard drive is inconsistant and constantly errors when not properly configured.

2. You will need an external optical drive to play any CD. That includes your restore cd for Windows which this does not come with. It comes with a recovery application which does not recover the computer properly.

3. The Crystal Camera has the potential to blue screen of death your computer and it will.

4. Dell and Asus sell similar models around the same price that will not give you these problems and are forthcoming on the Operating system reboot with respect to needing an external cd drive to do so. They also offer copies of XP Home with their models.

5. The touchpad is cheap and poorly placed. You will cramp your hand a lot to use it.

On a final note. DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER. It might last for a few months but it WILL crash and burn and you WILL be out almost 300 bucks. Cheap model. Poor software.
